lyrics
come sit, come wait
come get along with me
we'll pray to a god who's listening
pray for you and pray for me
dear god if you're listening
let us start a life anew
when we're resting in your land
pray lord, save us from you
save us from your earthly trials
pray lord, from us to you
from sickness toil, sin, and strife
pray lord, from us to you
dear god if you're listening
we vow to speak no more to you
and if we die in sin, then you will too
pray lord, save us from you
save us from your earthly trials
pray lord, from us to you
from sickness toil, fear, and strife
pray lord, from us to you

I have an ever evolving list of Desert Island projects. Bless This Mess is on that list.
I still get goose bumps when I hear "Murder of Crows"
One of my regrets in Life is that I didn't drive up that snowy pass to load these fine humans in my truck when they had their tour mishap in Colorado a few years back. Concerts @539

It would be a mistake to only listen to this during the holidays. I think that this album is a wonderful Brown Bird album on its own and shouldn't be brushed aside just because it's a Christmas album. I don't even like Christmas music, but this is fantastic. Keej
